June Favorites 2020
Welcome to my 2020 June Favorites! We have quite a few products since this is *actually* a mix of May AND June favorites so let’s go ahead and get into it.
Beauty
- Cerave Healing Ointment
- Perfect for chapped lips and dry skin in general since it’s non-greasy and contains ceramides.
- Skindinavia Setting Spray
- It’s HOT and we’re all wearing masks; this is a must! I personally have the Bridal version BUT I also love the original version.
- Coty Airspun Powder & Ben Nye Banana Powder mixed together
- Coty is too beige and Ben Nye is too yellow. The two combined create a great under eye brightening/setting powder. In the future, I will stick with “light banana powder”
- L’oreal Paris Freshwear Foundation
- My current ride or die! I live in a very humid climate and this foundation never fails me! Performs very well with or without a primer and under a face mask 😷.
- Cerave PM
- Fantastic basic moisturizer with niacinamide, which I hear is good for brightening.
Lifestyle
- Bath and Body Works Desert Hibiscus Gentle Foaming Soap
- Hands down favorite soap scent I’ve ever tried! It’s light, fruity, and fresh. (I think they retired this fragrance but would be willing to bet Apple Hibiscus smells very similar!)
- The Ordinary Glycolic Acid mixed with lotion
- I am not a dermatologist nor do I play one on TV. That said, I am loving combining glycolic acid with lotion. I was going to buy an exfoliating lotion but figured why not make my own since I already have both ingredients. Works really well! Just be mindful of your ratios. I only use a little glycolic acid per pump of lotion.
- Old Spice Wolfthorn Anti-Perspirant and Deodorant
- FAVORITE Old Spice scent on me. I have tried Bearglove and Wilderness and I hated Wilderness. Bearglove was ok but Wolfthorn takes the cake.
- Reusable K-cup
- Love this little thing! I feel so much less wasteful when using it.
- The Gentlemen (movie)
- I saw this movie in theaters when it first came out and absolutely loved it! It was chaotic, action packed, and had a great soundtrack. I recently rented it on Amazon Prime and still LOVE it.
- Banza Chickpea Pasta
- Oh. My. God. I cannot even tell you how much I love this “pasta!” Linguine is (and always has been) my favorite style of pasta.
- Everything Bagel Seasoning
- I put this shit on everything and it is DELICIOUS.
- FlavorGod Garlic Lovers Seasoning
- Hands down my favorite seasoning of all time. It’s so garlicky and delicious.
- PEScience protein powder mixed with peanut butter or greek yogurt
- For Peanut Butter: either the vanilla, peanut butter, or chocolate flavored protein powder mixed with your favorite peanut butter
- For Greek Yogurt: loving the strawberry cheesecake protein powder mixed with greek yogurt.
- Tide Antibacterial Spray
- Bought this when COVID-19 first came on the scene to keep my soft fabrics that I couldn’t throw into the washer clean. Leaves a nice, light scent that isn’t overwhelming and doesn’t irritate my allergies.
- Iced coffee/tea maker
- SUMMER = iced everything! I absolutely love this pitcher for both tea and coffee. It’s small but holds almost 2 liters!
