On Wednesdays We Journal // 06 – Gratitude
You girls (gratitude) keep me young, ugh i love you so much.
What pops into your head when people mention gratitude? 🤔 Did you guys watch Ford vs. Ferrari? If not, I highly recommend it especially if you’re into cars and racing but ANYWAY there’s a scene where Ken Miles is driving the car and he’s so JAZZED that he yells “YES! MORE OF THAT PLEASE” and that’s exactly what gratitude is. Shit you love and want more of. It’s that simple.
Journal Prompts
Here are 3 very basic journal prompts to prove that gratitude can actually be simple, quick, and easy.
1️⃣ Brain dump // Write it out. Draw it out. List it out. Whatever works best for you.
2️⃣ Name 3 things you are grateful for. // Call this list whatever you want. Fit the gratitude into your life in an authentic way. The point is to focus on the things we love.
3️⃣ I am grateful for __________ because ________________. // My fail-safe, short on time, ONE SENTENCE prompt.
Example: Journal Prompt #1
Just…scribbles of things I’m currently saying fuck yes to. Gratitude can be random shit like this. Don’t think it has to be a grand gesture, because it doesn’t.

Quick and easy “three things” list. Notice I’ve called it “obsessed with” instead of gratitude. Do what makes naming things you love easier for you.

Quick ONE SENTENCE gratitude entry. Keep it simple and from the heart.
